In recent years, the Billboard charts have seen surprisingly high appearances from artists signed to independent labels. In this package, I report on the rise of indie music.

When Emory cut several academic departments in September 2012, many complained that the cuts unfairly affected minorities. Since then, “The Dooley Show” controversy and President James Wagner’s controversial column regarding slavery have pushed issues of race to the forefront of campus discussion. In this package, I report on the Rally Against Racism.
